Quintin Crye, of Gridley, won the heat race but spent the main race battling his way back at the USAC/BCRA race at Kings Speedway in Hanford last weekend. A blown tire finally ended his night.

After winning the heat race by a half straightaway or more, Crye began the A main race in the sixth row on the outside. He was moving forward until a three-car crash happened right in front of him.

He hit one of the cars and bent his right front shock.

The collision caused Crye to fall back to 24th. He was able to work his way back up to 12th before his right front tire blew.
