A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 for Debra Ann (Rogers) Stockton, 53, at 10 a.m., at the Gridley-Biggs Cemetery.  Debra passed away on August 20, 2008, in Gridley.

She was born on October 19, 1954, in Yankton, South Dakota.  She graduated from Cupertino High School and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Ted; mother, Ann Rogers; mother-in-law, Sylvia Stockton; brothers Gary Rogers and wife Carolyn, Alan Rogers and wife Linda, David Rogers and wife Katie; nephews, Jeffrey Rogers, Adam Rogers, Bryan Rogers and grand-nephews Timmy and Ross; niece, Kimberly Aiken; cousins, Greg Rogers, Mona Adell and many relatives in other parts of the country.  Sister-in-law, Sandra Stockton; brother-in-law, Kevin Stockton; stepsons, Brian and Shawn Stockton.

Debbie was an accomplished wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.  She was fiercely loyal to her family and friends.  She was an accomplished “giver of love”.  There was nothing she would not do to help a family member or friend in need.  She invested herself constantly in serving others any way she could.  She was the glue that held a large family together, always ready to host lavish holiday meals for the whole family in her home.  She made the other person feel important.  Her favorite Holiday was Christmas, and she celebrated it with the whole family with zeal and energy that no one could match.  Someone said: “It’s not how long you have lived, but how well you have lived.”  Debra Stockton lived her life well.  She devoted her life in the last few years caring for her elderly mother, Ann, in her home.  She loved her mother profoundly.  Her family was everything to her.  She touched many people during her brief 53 years.  She will always be in the hearts she touched.
